New York, NY - AES Booth# 421 (October, 2011) – TASCAM, a world leader in recording technology for over five decades, today introduces TASCAM SS-Series Solid State Recorders, the SS-CDR-200, SS-R200 and SS-R100, designed for the Broadcast and Contractor markets. These new Solid State Recorders record in WAV & MP3 to Compact Flash, SD/SDHC, and USB memory. The SS-CDR200 also records MP3 and audio CD formats to CD via a slot-loading transport. The SS-CDR200 and SS-R200 also feature parallel and RS-232C serial control balanced & unbalanced I/O, and coaxial digital I/O. The SS-R100 is down to basics with unbalanced and coaxial digital I/O only. All three recorders support the RC-20 direct play remote for up to 20 tracks of flash start making them an ideal one rack-space media solution.
