The Tannoy VSX 8.2BP is designed to complement Tannoy VX and VXP Series full range loudspeakers, as well as offering an ideal low frequency device for use with many of Tannoy's other systems, such as VLS Series or DVS Series. Extending the frequency response of these systems to below 40 Hz, this highly efficient dual 8" subwoofer is capable of providing output levels normally associated with considerably larger enclosures. A system suited to background music playback in applications ranging from clubs, bars and cafes, right through to theatres and AV presentations.

The VSX 8.2BP utilises a pair of high efficiency 200 mm (8") drive units mounted in a compact and sturdy, black or white painted MDF cabinet. The low profile enclosure design also allows discreet placement, for instance unobtrusively incorporated into fixed furnishings such as underneath seating or the bar in cafes and bars, for discrete but impressive performance.

The VSX 8.2BP benefits from Tannoy's latest bandpass subwoofer design philosophies, optimising tonal balance and harmonic output through precisely engineered enclosure geometry and innovative transducer design; and ensures well-defined low frequency reinforcement at high sound pressure levels, with extremely low distortion and power compression.

Featuring a rugged and durable birch ply enclosure, with ergonomic Integrip™ carry handles and integrated, recessed termination panels with speakON NL4 and barrier strip connections for ease of install, the VSX 8.2BP is a highly flexible subwoofer solution. As well as in fixed installs, VSX 8.2BP can easily be coupled with VX Series and VXP Series and VSX Series column loudspeakers for portable PA applications thanks to an integrated pole-mount recess and the optional VTH pole mount.
